Fairgreen Safeguarding Children Policy
What is safeguarding?
Safeguarding refers to the proactive measures taken to ensure the wellbeing, protection, and safety of individuals, particularly vulnerable populations such as children, young people, and adults at risk. It involves creating a secure environment, implementing policies and procedures, and promoting awareness to prevent and respond to any potential harm, abuse, or neglect. Safeguarding aims to guarantee that everyone, especially those in more vulnerable circumstances, can live and participate in various activities free from harm and exploitation.
Below you will find Safeguarding posters and information placed in multiple locations around the school.
If you do have any further questions, please feel free to contact your child’s home room teacher, a member of our leadership team or the safeguarding members.
