Wizard of Oz Production | Important Updates for Cast 1 & Cast 2
Dear Parents,
As we approach the enchanting world of the City of Oz, we are delighted to share some exciting updates and key details about our Wizard of Oz production. Please see important information below:
Ramadan Rehearsals | PYP Cast
Our Ramadan rehearsals will continue until Friday, March 21 to ensure our young performers are showcasing their best acting and singing talents. It’s truly heartening to see their progress in bringing the Wizard of Oz adventure to life on stage.
Areas we continue to focus on include:
- Memorizing lines
- Polishing singing to achieve the best results
We understand that this can be challenging, especially for students with multiple lines. However, once they know their lines, we can better assist them with acting and stage prompts. When rehearsing at home, please encourage your child to consider the emotions of their character and how they would feel in each scene.
Rehearsal & ASA Schedule After Spring Break PYP Cast
- ASA (After School Activity) & Rehearsal Days: ASA (After School Activity) will be held on Monday, April 7 and 14, providing an extra opportunity for students to fine-tune their performances, with rehearsal days on Tuesday, April 8, Wednesday, April 9, and Tuesday, April 15.
- Friday Rehearsal: April 11, 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- Additionally, please note that students will have the opportunity to watch both the Primary and Secondary productions as part of the Cast Dress Rehearsals on the day of the show.
Rehearsal & ASA Schedule After Spring Break MYP
- ASA (After School Activity): Tuesday, April 8t & 15
- An extra opportunity for students to fine-tune their performances.
- Rehearsal Day: Wednesday, April 9
- Another important rehearsal to refine and perfect our production.
- Friday Rehearsal: April 18, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Additionally, please note that students will have the opportunity to watch both the Primary and Secondary productions as part of the Cast Dress Rehearsals on the day of the show.
