The IB Curriculum at Fairgreen

Fairgreen offers a progressive IB Continuum Curriculum*, which fosters the development of the whole child. Students learn the skills they will need to compete in a global society. And, unique to Fairgreen, our curriculum encourages students to value and champion sustainability in all its forms: economic, social, and environmental.

*Note: Fairgreen International School is an IB World School authorized for the Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme, and a candidate school pursuing authorization for our Careers-related Programme and Diploma Programme, which is expected by June 2021. IB schools operate with a philosophy and commitment to delivering a high quality, challenging, international education.

Early Years at Fairgreen

In our Early Years programme, children are encouraged to explore ideas, develop personal and social skills, build curiosity, take responsibility and gain greater independence as they move through these early stages in their education. Learning through play is a major component of their experience. They will learn to read and at the same time learn how to ask questions, solve problems, and work cooperatively and positively with other children in a safe and secure environment.

Our Students Are The Stars!

The Fairgreen Million Solar Stars event is one of the many highlights of our school year. In keeping with our mission to develop students' passion for sustainability, the MSS programme challenges students to design and build their own solar-powered cars and boats that they race at the MSS Challenge each year.

In addition to the exciting races, students perform songs and poetry and present beautiful edible art with vegetables they grow themselves at Fairgreen. We also feature solar exhibitions from our partners in the solar industry. At our event in February 2020, we hosted many special guests including HH The Green Shiekh, two representatives from The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Influencer Khalid Alameri, and Mountaineer Dolores Shelleh.
