PreK and KG1 Reopening
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your understanding during these times, as you are aware the school reopening has now been delayed. The PreK and KG1 student will now be holding their orientation sessions on Wednesday 2nd September and Thursday 3rd September. They will start full time learning on Sunday 6th September as scheduled. School transport will begin on 6th September.
We would like children to come to school in their uniform from the 2nd September. They do not need to bring a snack with them for the orientation sessions, only a bottle of water. When children start school full time on the 6th September please bring a healthy snack, lunch and water.
The bubble groupings and orientation sessions have been created to allow the children to settle into the school with both teacher and teaching assistant available at both sessions. Unfortunately the bubble groupings and session placements can not be changed as this would have an impact on bubble sizes. We will be holding a Zoom session at 2.30pm on 2nd and 3rd September for those children who will be completing Distance Learning. If your child is unable to make the orientation please join the afternoon Zoom sessions. Your child's class teacher will send a Zoom link out for this on Monday. As staff have been unable to come on to campus today video welcome messages from teachers will now also be shared on Monday.
For those children who will be completing Distance Learning this will begin on 6th September, videos and activities will be shared via Seesaw, and further guidance on how to access this will be shared over the coming week.
We are really looking forward to meeting the children and welcoming them on campus.
Regards,
Cheryl Wood
