Mother Tongue and Foreign Language Programme
Are you interested in helping your child perfect their mother tongue language or learn an additional one?
Over the past few years Fairgreen has had a very popular Mother Tongue program covering Arabic, Danish, Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Italian,Russian and Turkish with Greek being our latest addition this year. We also launched our Foreign Language Program for those interested to learn additional languages.
Language Specific Information
All language courses will be offered face to face on campus once a week straight after school hours for approximately one hour depending on each language provider.
All language courses will begin the week of September 9. The deadline for pre-registration is Friday, September 6 and the links to the forms can be found at the bottom of this page.

The team will get in touch with you for online level tests and when they have a sufficient number of students who has the same level and an available teacher they will open a new class.

Danskskolen i Dubai tilbyder danskundervisning på FIS, og vi starter vores undervisning Onsdag d. 11 September 2024.
Vi har fornøjelsen af mange af eleverne fra FIS, men hvis I ikke kender til vores tilbud, så tilbyder vi følgende på jeres skole:

· 0.-3. klasse hver onsdag klokken 16.00-17.30 (Fyldt, men mulighed for et torsdagshold)
· 4.-8. klasse hver onsdag klokken 16.00-17.30
· 0.-3. klasse hver torsdag klokken 16.00-17.30 (ved mindst 8 tilmeldte)
· Førskoledansk for 4 til 5- årige hver fredag klokken 13.00-14.00 (ved mindst 8 tilmeldte)
· Sang & Sjov for 2 til 4-årige hver fredag klokken 14.30 – 15.20
· Begynderdansk for 11-16 årige hver onsdag klokken 18.00-19.15 (ved mindst 6 tilmeldte)

- To pre-register your child, please follow the links for the language you are interested in and fill out the form indicating mother tongue (native speakers) or foreign language (non-native speakers) programme, or both;
- Our language providers will get in touch with you if any further information is required and may carry out an initial assessment (either online or on campus).
- We will be finalizing each language class based on the number of pre-registrations we receive. Start dates for each language programme will be communicated by the institutes.
- Classes will only be able to commence if the minimum number of students required per language has signed up and their age and skill level matches up.
- Future enrollments will be subject to the availability of individual providers.
- No Payment will be made until the language provider confirms your child/children will join the program.
- All payments will be made directly to the providers
- In case you haven't found the language you are looking for in the above, please leave an inquiry for "Other language" in this survey and you will be approached by Headway Institute to discuss the options.
Transportation:
Please note there is no bus available for Pre-KG and KG1 students after the classes. All students will need to be collected by parents/guardians at 2.30 p.m.
The Language Programme runs parallel to all other after school activities however the lesson distribution is not the same.
If your child is registered for the school bus service, on the days that all after school activities are running, he/she can take the ASA bus at 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Please note that there is no ASA bus on Friday.
In the case that only the Language program is running after school, please note that you will need to arrange alternative transportation.
