School Uniform AY 2026-2027

Dear Fairgreen Parents,

We would like to share an important milestone in our journey of growth and continuous improvement: the introduction of a refreshed Fairgreen school uniform, launching in Academic Year 2026–2027.

This update has been developed with careful consideration of our students’ changing needs and the diverse contexts of our community, supporting age-appropriate choices and cultural awareness while maintaining a clear and consistent Fairgreen identity.

The key drivers behind this change include:

1. Improved Quality & Durability

• Polo shirts will transition from organic cotton to better blends for everyday wear items, offering greater durability, comfort, and ease of care.
• Shorts and trousers have been upgraded with enhanced fabric quality, ensuring longevity and daily practicality.
• Sizing will be fully reviewed to ensure that our students have a uniform that fits well and is comfortable.

2. Culturally Appropriate & Inclusive Garments

• In alignment with our values of international mindedness, inclusion and cultural sensitivity, we are moving away from skorts and shorts in Secondary and introducing trousers for both boys and girls. In Primary, girls will move from skorts to shorts, with a redesigned style that prioritises comfort and quality.

• The uniform for CP and DP students (Grades 11 and 12) will remain unchanged and will continue to consist of the Fairgreen white polo shirt, trousers, and varsity jacket.

3. Thoughtful, Timeless Redesign

• A shift from bright, bold colours to a more refined and classic palette, maintaining Fairgreen’s identity while offering a polished, age-appropriate look.
• Subtle colour differentiation between year groups to support belonging and clarity.
• PE Kit’s design will remain the same in terms of design,  while the fabric will be changed for better quality longevity and daily practicality.

4. Sustainability & Responsibility

• By focusing on durability and practicality, the updated uniform supports longer use and fewer replacements, aligning with our shared commitment to responsible choices.

Timeline & Transition Plan:

• May 2026: Samples will be displayed at the school for parents and students to see the new uniform.
• June 2026: Size Samples will be available for parents to try before placing orders on-line

• August 2026: Back-to-School Shop is set up on campus
• August 2026: New uniforms are delivered to your home addresses before the start of AY 2026–2027.
• Term 1 (AY 2026–27): Transition period - students may wear either the current or new uniform.
• From Term 2 (AY 2026–27): All students will be required to wear the new uniform in full.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Kindly note, that there will be a Uniform Pop-Up Shop on campus, offering current uniform items at discounted prices. The exact date will be announced shortly. Families who wish to purchase additional uniform pieces for the next 9–12 months are welcome to do so at this time. In addition, there is a uniform donation box located next to the Wellbeing Hub, offering families the opportunity to donate gently used or unwanted uniforms for reuse and recycling.
