Here at Fairgreen, our students have the options to either bring in a healthy and nutritious meal from home; or, purchase a hot or cold meal from the school cafeteria. View our school menu here, to help you decide if you would like to purchase school meals in advance. Our servings come in a 3 course set meal and parents will have 3 options through which to order:
As a sustainable school, we request that all families pre-order their meals online. This helps us to reduce food wastage.
We have a range of After School Activities that you can sign up for here at Fairgreen. These After-school activities begin on Sunday, 29th September. You will receive information regarding the activities on offer on 19th September. Please note our After School Activities are bookable through the Schools Buddy App, more information to follow.
Our school uniform shop is based here on campus; allowing you to buy all that you need right here at Fairgreen. To have a look at our uniform shop opening times over summer, and before back to school, download our timings here.
We have recently partnered with sustainable fashion conscious design company Etuix. They have created our school bags for next year, and have done so responsibly, from reused/recycled billboard adverts. You can browse and purchase these from our school reception.
On the first Tuesday of every month (see calendar for actual dates), starting October 2019, we will have an early dismissal, with ALL students ending at 1:30pm.
This is to allow for extended professional training for teachers. Please make sure you have these dates on your family calendar and arrange to have your children collected at 1:30pm on these dates.
You can have a look at the Fairgreen school calendar for 2019/2020 on our website here. Take a look at our planned holidays, Teacher Training Days and more.
School is scheduled to begin for all students on Monday, 2nd September.
As of September, parents with cars will have the option for a quick drop off through gate 4. This will be reviewed in the first two weeks. No parking will be permitted on that service road. Another option for pick up and drop off will be through Gate 1 where limited car parking will be available for parents with younger children to park.
Registration for school transportation will close on the 15th of August. Parents willing to use this service are required to follow the guidelines and registration on Maverick’s online application. Please contact our team on firstname.lastname@example.org for further liaison.
Meet the Teacher Evening will be on Wednesday, 11th September, from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
We will start promptly in the Auditorium, for a 30-40 minute address and welcome, and then move to classrooms to meet the teachers. This is an important event in the school calendar, so please make every effort to attend.
As a sustainable school, instead of printing, we have all of our school brochures and handbooks available for download here. All of the information you will need as a parent at Fairgreen can be found in these handbooks.
We see our community as an extension of our campus. That's why we ask each parent to sign a copy of our community trip contract.
This contract allows our teachers to take our children out and into the city during the school day. It has so far allowed Grade 8 to sit by the pond as they read for English, our Pre-K to head to the animal sanctuary and feed the donkeys and goats, and our Early-Years to head into the plaza to paint. Download and sign your copy here.
School is scheduled to begin for all students on Sunday, 1st September, however there is a possibility that this day is a public holiday so we will confirm on our school website when this is decided.
Students will receive their timetables/schedules on the first day. There will be no specialist lessons that day.
